Free calls to India on Orange Mobiles are back. As of 14 January 2010 we are pleased to announce that there are personal unique free calling access numbers available to make free international calls on mobiles in the UK.

There are good reasons why the number is not published on the website. We dont want the numbers to be banned. In the past there were 07744 and 07755 numbers. They are both excluded  from inclusive cross network minutes on t mobile, o2, 3 and Vodafone. This new number is the only number that is counted as inclusive any network minutes on Orange contracts.

The easiest way is for you to check that it is free to call india is to  make a 2 minute call using our access number. Then simply phone orange and ask them if you have any chargeable calls. And you will see that it is indeed free :)

There are many other companies that apparently are offering free calls to india. Vonage for example now offers unlimited calls to India landlines and mobiles. However you have to pay 18.99 per month. There is a 9.99 line activation charge, equipment costs are up to 29.99 and equipement delivery is 8.99. Phew, I have finally finished typing all these extras. So apart from pay 18.99 you will be paying all that amount just to get the kit from Vonage.

There are only 1000 unque numbers available. So spread this good news to your close freinds and family so they too can enjoy free calling to india. Numbers are limited to a first come first serve basis. No need to make cheap calls to india, you can now make free calls!!
